Hyaluronidase – What is it used for?

Hyaluronidase improves ocular akinesia, patient and surgeon satisfaction, in addition to attenuating postoperative pain.

Amphadase (hyaluronidase injection, USP) is indicated to increase the absorption and dispersion of other injected drugs and contraindicated where hypersensitivities to hyaluronidase or any other ingredient in the formulation exist. The graph below shows some benefits to using Lidocaine along with Hyaluronidase.
